This new three-story, 55,000-square-foot medical facility, delivered through a collaborative design-build partnership with HMC Architects, is set to become a beacon of integrated care and community engagement for Los Angeles County.

Strategically located adjacent to North Hollywood Park, the clinic is designed to serve approximately 9,000 patients annually, providing a comprehensive range of services under one roof. For the first time in Los Angeles County, the Departments of Health Services, Mental Health, and Public Health will be co-located within a single facility, streamlining access and fostering seamless collaboration among care providers. This innovative “one-stop” approach ensures that patients receive holistic, coordinated care—whether they need primary care, urgent care, mental health support, or wellness services.

The ground floor of the clinic will feature a vibrant community center and a wellness center, including a demonstration kitchen for healthy living education and flexible indoor-outdoor spaces to support community events and outreach. The adjacent five-story, 260-stall parking structure will ensure accessibility and convenience for all visitors.

Sustainability and resilience are at the core of the project’s design. The facility is targeting LEED Gold® certification, with features such as native landscaping, high-performance building materials, and a photovoltaic panel system to reduce energy consumption and operational costs. The building’s orientation and massing optimize natural light and ventilation, while advanced mechanical systems support a healthy, comfortable environment for patients and staff.
